Celotex GA4000 uses

The Celotex GA4000 range is a range of general-purpose PIR boards with thicknesses ranging from 50mm to 100mm. GA4000 is an incredibly versatile insulation board and can be used in a variety of applications. GA4000 insulation boards can be used on ground floors, whether they are solid concrete, suspended timber, or block and beam, and including ground floors with underfloor heating. Additionally, GA4000 insulation boards can be used in pitched roofs, flat roofs, timber and steel-framed walls, and in many other projects within retrofitting and refurbishment works.

Celotex GA4000 specifications

Celotex GA4000 insulation boards are manufactured from polyisocyanurate and have low emissivity foil facings to aid with reducing heat transfer.

The R-value denotes the resistance to heat flow – the higher the R-value the more insulating the product is.

Celotex TB4000 uses

Celotex TB4000 insulation boards are very similar to GA4000 insulation boards, in that they are general-purpose PIR boards that can be used in a number of different applications. TB4000 insulation boards from Celotex can be used in floors, solid walls, timber and steel frame constructions and more. The thin characteristics of TB4000 mean that the TB4000 range is particularly suited to combatting localised heat losses and thermal bridging.

Celotex TB4000 specifications

TB4000 insulation boards are polyisocyanurate boards, and similarly to GA4000 insulation boards they also have low emissivity facings. However, TB4000 insulation boards are much thinner than the GA4000 range, as shown below.

The R-value denotes the resistance to heat flow – the higher the R-value the more insulating the product is.

Celotex XR4000 insulation boards

Celotex XR4150 General Purpose PIR Insulation Board diagram

Celotex XR4000 uses

The XR4000 insulation board range from Celotex has been designed to provide users with a thinner insulation board that still achieves high U values. Celotex XR4000 boards have been developed to be used specifically in “cut-to-fit” applications, meaning that they can be fitted between rafters and joists to provide a highly insulating layer of insulation without being super thick.

Celotex XR4000 specifications

The Celotex XR4000 insulation boards are high-performance and thin insulation boards, achieving the highest insulating levels of the Celotex insulation boards range whilst remaining relatively thin. See the table below for exact R- values, thicknesses and sizes.

The R-value denotes the resistance to heat flow – the higher the R-value the more insulating the product is.

Celotex CW4000 insulation boards

Celotex CW4100 Cavity Wall Insulation Board diagram

Celotex CW4000 uses

The CW4000 insulation board range has been developed specifically to be used in partial fill cavity walls. The CW4000 boards come in sizes specifically to fit within cavity walls and can be used in both new and existing buildings.

Celotex CW4000 specifications

Developed for a particular use within cavity wall spaces, the CW4000 PIR board range has foil facings to minimise potential heat transfer within cavity wall spaces. The CW4000 insulation boards come in smaller lengths and widths to improve installation time within the cavity walls.

The R-value denotes the resistance to heat flow – the higher the R-value the more insulating the product is.
