Celotex GA4050 is a multi-purpose insulation board which is suitable for use in a variety of applications such as pitched roofs, flat roofs, solid masonry walls, floors and timber framed and steel framed systems. Equipped with low emissivity foil facing, it's manufactured from rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) and easy to cut and shape. Thanks to the excellent thermal performance, as demonstrated by a thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/m.K, this insulation board is able to hit the target U-value with reduced thickness.
What's more, the low emissivity foil facing provides improved thermal performance in sealed cavity air spaces, improving the potential U-value. The GA4050 has been certified by the BBA (British Board of Agrement) as fit for use in defined roof, wall and floor applications when installed, used and maintained as set out in the certificate, giving you peace of mind. Additionally, it has earnt a BRE (Building Research Establishment) Green Guide Rating of A, which can help your environmental performance in your BREEAM (Building Research Establishment's Environmental Assessment Method assessments, making it a valuable asset.
Question:
How many boards per pack?
Answer:
This is sold per board rather than as a pack.
Question:
Can I fix this to the inside of my attic ceiling, i.e. in a bedroom, without additional plasterwork over the surface? Do you supply screws for this? How many would I need per panel? What is the weight of each panel?
Answer:
If fixing to a ceiling, ideally you'd fix plasterboard back over this, the product is the same facing either side so you can fit either side. Sadly we do not provide a specific screw for ceiling securement but there isn't a reccomended amount for each panel, this is at the installers discretion. This panel weighs approximately 5.53KG each.
Question:
