As an exceptional, high-performance viscoelastic material, this Tecsound Sy100 membrane is remarkably flexible and adaptable. Its primary function is to dampen vibrations and reduce airborne noise and can be used in an array of applications such as floors, walls and ceilings, particularly between acoustic plasterboards.
This Tecsound SY100 membrane is also effective when applied directly to metallic structures to decrease structural vibrations. It offers several advantages, including a self-adhesive backing that makes it easy to apply and resistance to mould, moisture and fungus. Additionally, it can be effortlessly shaped to fit into confined spaces.
Question:
Considering the adhesive nature of this product. If I were to apply it to a wooden door, is there any way to remove it cleanly in the future?
Answer:
It's not designed to be used as a temporary covering so may detrimently affect its performance if you are habitually applying and removing it.
