With a 0.036W/mK thermal conductivity, these Thermo-loc Fire-Rated Cavity Closers from Timloc surpass the 0.45m²K/W minimum thermal resistance path. Rated to withstand fire for up to 30 minutes, they deliver an efficient thermal barrier and Damp-Proof Course (DPC) between the outer wall and the inner frame leaf.

With a rigid profile extrusion, these cavity closers are highly durable and resistant to decay, making them ideal for all frame and sill positions. Suitable for first and second-fix applications in timber and masonry walls, they are available in a range of widths to suit cavities up to 300mm. Due to having an Ozone depletion potential (ODP) and global warming potential (GWP) of zero, they are incredibly environmentally friendly

Hi, can you tell me if this product is suitable for a retro-fit scenario. appreciate bed-joints will need cutting out to install ties. Or is there a more suitable product? thanks in advance. Chris
