Steico Special Dry is a versatile and highly efficient external sarking/sheathing board that is windtight, resistant to water and heat insulating with just one layer. With a thermal conductivity rating of 0.041W/mK, it offers exceptional thermal insulation. Composed of wood fibre, polyurethane resin and paraffin wax, it is an eco-friendly insulation board for breathable new builds, renovations, and conversions.
The board is particularly well-suited for walls and roofs due to its added durability because of the tongue and groove profile. It provides high heat protection in summer months, as well as protection against wind, dust, moisture, and sound while inhibiting thermal bridging. FSC chain of custody certified, this board is recyclable and sourced from sustainable forests for an environmentally friendly choice.
