Steico Flex is an eco-conscious insulation batt that consists of a blend of wood fibres, polyolefin fibres, and ammonium phosphate materials. This product is highly versatile in DIY insulation projects and eco-friendly homes, and can be used for insulation in lofts, floors, walls, ceilings, partition walls, service zones, and dry walling applications.

With a declared thermal conductivity of 0.038 W/mK and a high density, it provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties for comfortable indoor temperatures through summer and winter. It is water vapor open and also promotes a healthy and regulated indoor climate with high absorption capacity, while reducing the formation of thermal bridges.

You can handle and cut Steico Flex with ease as it is classified as non-irritant. It can also be installed with minimal effort as it is semi-rigid. Flexible enough to be cut slightly oversize, the batt can be flexed into gaps to friction fit adjoining components.

To keep its thickness over time with minimal reduction, this insulation batt is a fairly solid insulation with great compression resistance. It is manageable, recyclable and sustainable, and carries with it ecological and environmental accreditation and FSC certification.

  • Steico Flex is available in five different thicknesses: 140mm, 100mm, 80mm, 50mm and 40mm. 60mm is available but it is not a stocked product and only available in full pallets, call our sales team to order.
