Available in 25 litre and 5 litre volumes, the Saint Gobain Weberend Protect Coating for Render is a durable coating that offers excellent protection against water, oil, and graffiti. While doing so, it also preserves the appearance of the render and allows it to breathe.
Saint Gobain Weberend Protect Coating for Render is highly hydrophobic and colourless, providing an excellent water repellent coating. As it enhances weather resistance and prevents water penetration, the water will bead off the surface. In result, it ensures a clean, dry render and also fends against the accumulation of dirt, stains, and other contaminants. This product has full compatibility with Deferral M, Deferral D, Weberpral MF, and Webertherm XP external wall insulation systems.
Before starting the work, make sure the substrate is dry. Fix any pre-existing cracks and ensure it is completely clean, without any dust, dirt, oil, efflorescence, organic growth, or old paint films. Test the compatibility and calculate usage by applying a small quantity to a discrete area of the substrate.
Depending on the surface type, you can apply this product using a low-pressure spray (for high textured surfaces), brush, or roller. When applying the product on vertical surfaces, start from the bottom and work your way up to prevent it from running. If you need to apply multiple coats, make sure to do so while the previous coat is still wet within 10 minutes, as once the product is fully treated and dry, re-application is not advised at the risk of losing adhesion. The water repellence of the product will become noticeable after it cures, although it may take up to seven days for it to reach its maximum effectiveness.
