Description

With no waste and no cutting necessary, this slab allows a secure fit for thermal and acoustic integrity between frames in walls, partitions, floors and roofs. The renewable volcanic rock material offers resistance to fire and minimises the building's carbon footprint. All un-faced or aluminium foil or glass fleece faced (one or both surfaces) ROCKWOOL RW slab products achieve an A1 classification to BS EN 13501-1 and meet the requirements of non-combustible materials/products defined in all UK and Ireland Building Regulations.

Ideal for thermal and acoustic insulation, ROCKWOOL Flexi Slabs are versatile and dual purpose. Thanks to the distinct flexible edge on one side, a seamless fit between the product and its supporting framework can be obtained to ensure maximum efficiency.

ROCKWOOL's stone wool items serve two separate purposes in decreasing noise: obstructing sound transmission through structural components or absorbing sound at the surface. Due to the composition of ROCKWOOL RW slabs, their fibres are particularly effective at absorbing sound, exhibiting characteristically high coefficients across a wide frequency range.
