This Pavatex Pavatherm-Combi Woodfibre Insulation Board is a high-quality and well-performing insulating board. Designed for walls and roofs, this board has multifunctional application options. It can be directly laid on the rafters for weather protection due to the profiled edge design or used as under-rafter insulation.
Suited for combination with Pavatex Insulation systems for render, cladding or tiling, this woodfibre insulation board is versatile and economical.
This product is compatible with a range of applications, including roofs over rafters in combination with Pavatherm-Plus board or Pavatex ADB membrane and for numerous under-rafter installations. It can also be used for walls on to studs when combined with Pavatherm-Plus Board or Pavatex ADB membrane for cladding and with Diffutherm Board for render. Additionally, it can be fixed with machinal fixings and is compatible with a variety of finishes such as clad or tile - it can be brick clad, rendered and plastered.
Pavatherm-Combi serves as a supplementary insulation for Pavatherm-Plus insulations with higher thickness. To install over rafters, place it directly on them, cover it quickly to prevent weather damage, and then add Pavatherm-Plus insulation elements with offset joints. The rafter distance should not exceed 89cm. For under rafters, secure Pavatherm-Combi under-rafter boards with offset joints to the rafters using insulation nails, and attach battens through the insulation boards. Alternatively, for rendered under-rafter insulation, position the substructure at right angles to the rafters (40/60 mm with axis spacing a = 34.5 cm) and fill with PAVAFLEX insulation. Add a DB 3.5 airtight vapour barrier, and cover the area with Pavatherm-Combi under-rafter insulation boards that are rafter parallel.
