BBA and Passivhaus certified, this Passive Purple Airtight Liquid Vapour Control Membrane is designed for brush application for more delicate, smaller areas. Able to adhere to any substrate, including insulation, timber, steel, blockwork and OSB, you can complete projects quickly and easily with zero wastage and minimal mess.

This vapour control membrane has a Passivhaus-certified score of 0.03ach (air changes per hour), which is twenty times lower than the required 0.6ach. So, if you're looking to achieve certified Passivhaus or simply want to build to a Passivhaus standard, this Passive Purple Airtight Liquid Vapour Control Membrane is the ideal solution. It also provides an excellent Radon Barrier to eliminate radon gasses from entering your building.

Whereas traditional vapour control layers often require damage repairs, including the taping up of holes and stapling, which can be labour-intensive and slow down jobs, this Passive Purple Membrane eliminates all these issues. It is also rated Fire Class C, unlike paper membranes, which are rated Fire Class E.

As an M1 class, VOC-free solution, it is entirely free from harmful chemicals, making it safe for you and the environment.

Coverage

  • Each 6.9kg tub has a coverage of approximately 8-18m². When using an airless spray device, a single installer can apply up to 300m² of Passive Purple in a day, reducing application times dramatically.
