This advanced membrane, Novia VC8 Reflective, is designed to function as a reflective and airtight vapour check and convection barrier with an Sd value appropriate for insulated structures such as walls, roofs and floors in timber-framed dwellings.
Unlike traditional reflective vapour barriers with excessively high vapour resistances, Novia VC8 Reflective protects the building envelope from any damage and improves indoor air quality without suffocating the structure. This is due to its chosen Sd value of 8m.
CE Approved and compliant with CPR standard, this product delivers the key attributes of a reflective VCL, including improved ? values, interstitial water vapour condensation management and the prevention of unwanted air-leakage. Vapour Control Layers allow you to manage how naturally produced water vapour transitions through the building envelope as a result of general building use.
