Keep external masonry walls better insulated with Knauf DriTherm Cavity Slab 37, a flexible full-fill solution combining reliable thermal performance with easy installation. Its water-repellent glass mineral wool construction achieves a thermal conductivity of 0.037W/mK, while plant-based ECOSE Technology provides a more sustainable binder. For added fire performance, the material is non-combustible and rated Euroclass A1.
Rather than leaving gaps around small surface irregularities, the adaptable slabs mould closely to the substrate and knit together for consistent insulation across the cavity. Their lightweight design makes cutting and positioning simple, with a friction fit between wall ties removing the need for retaining discs.
These slabs are compatible with buildings in any exposure zone, including harsh areas as they are BBA-certified. They can used in structures up to 12m in height and multi-storey buildings up to 25m tall if they meet the BBA certification criteria. Supplied in recyclable polythene packs (4-LDPE), short-term protection is provided.
