Knauf DriTherm 37 50mm Cavity Wall Insulation Slab is a lightweight solution designed to improve thermal performance in external full-fill masonry cavity walls. Made from water-repellent glass mineral wool with plant-based ECOSE Technology, it offers a thermal conductivity of 0.037W/mK to help reduce heat loss. The non-combustible material also achieves the highest Euroclass A1 reaction to fire classification.
Easy to handle, cut and install, the flexible 50mm slabs conform to minor variations in the substrate and knit closely together to help prevent performance-reducing air gaps. They fit neatly between wall ties without the need for retaining discs and are BBA certified for use in all exposure zones, including very severe conditions.
Certified by the British Board of Agrement (BBA) for use in buildings up to 12m high in any exposure zone, even in extremely severe environments, they can also be used in multi-storey structures up to 25m tall. They prevent moisture transmission across the cavity or below the damp proof course level and do not allow water transmission to the inner leaf.
