This Knauf Aquapanel Interior Cement Board is a highly durable tile backer that offers ultimate peace of mind in wet indoor areas such as wet rooms, shower rooms and bathrooms. This innovative solution is resistant to mildew and mould and is specially designed to withstand exposure to water without deteriorating.

Unlike traditional backing materials, which often result in costly call-backs to replace damaged or rotten boards, this Knauf Aquapanel Interior Cement Board is engineered to remain strong, even when completely immersed in water. It is also keyed and ready to take tiles up to 50kg/m² as soon as it's fitted.

Thanks to its purpose design as a tile backing board, this Knauf Aquapanel Interior Cement Board can easily be fixed with Knauf Aquapanel interior screws ensuring a quick and simple installation process, requiring no special tools. The Aquapanel Screws (SN) are self-tapping and self-piercing so no pre-drilling is necessary and there's no risk of tile cracking or nail popping.

Extensively tested to comply with the latest European EN standards, this Knauf Aquapanel Interior Partition achieves exceptional acoustic performance, meeting the 40dB requirements for Approved Document E, making it the ideal choice for new dwellings with drylining specifications.
