The Kingspan Kooltherm K112 Framing Board, which replaces Kingspan Kooltherm K12, serves as a premium performance insulation solution. This framing board insulation product is typically installed between studs or used as insulation sheathing, suitable for both timber and steel frame walls, and delivers premium performance with an impressively low thermal conductivity of just 0.019 W/mK.
The Kooltherm K112 insulation comprises of a rigid phenolic core, which is faced on both sides with low emissivity foil to achieve its low thermal conductivity. As a result, it is an ideal choice for both new built projects and refurbishment works, as it is easy to handle and install. For refurbishments, it can even lower U-values in previously uninsulated areas.
Additionally, it is unaffected by air infiltration, further enhancing these abilities.
