The flexible edge ensures a perfect fit between the supporting framework for optimal effectiveness.
Providing efficient acoustic performance, fire resistance and thermal insulation, these Flexi semi-rigid slabs are suitable for use in all framed areas of your building. Without the necessity for cutting or waste, they ensure essential tight fitting for acoustic and thermal integrity between frames in walls, roofs, floors and partitions. Manufactured from renewable volcanic rock, they are exceptionally fire-resistant and substantially reduce the carbon footprint of your building.
This multi-use, dual-purpose thermal and acoustic insulation functions in two distinct ways to minimise noise: by absorbing sound at the surface or impeding the transmission of sound through an element of the structure. The structure of the fibres makes these RW slabs ideal for use as a sound absorber with naturally high coefficients over a vast frequency range.
These ROCKWOOL slabs obtain an A1 classification following BS EN 13501-1 and comply with the specifications of non-combustible products/materials as defined in all UK and Ireland Building Regulations.
