With a rigid fibre-free polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation core, this Eco-Versal general-purpose insulation board from EcoTherm is covered with composite aluminium foil facings on both sides. Ideal for use in floors, walls, pitched roofs and ceilings, it is suitable for use in new build projects or when enhancing the thermal performance of existing floors.

Delivering a cost-effective means of decreasing CO2 emissions, this Eco-Versal insulation board complies with Building Regulations/Standards to offer outstanding thermal performance with minimal thickness.

Question:

We have a timber internal frame with breather membrane and block external. The plan is to insulate in the timber frame with 100mm thermal board. Reading the description on this it seems it would be suitable for this purpose and also potentially the vaulted roof and floor. Can you confirm?

Answer:

Being a multi-purpose board it would be suitable for this purpose, while being a rigid board you can still friction fit the boards into a space provided they are cut correctly.

Is this product suitable for external wall insulation (with render)

Answer:

Provided it is fitted correctly, being a multi-purpose board it can be fitted into an external wall.
