Description

Developed, manufactured and supplied by EcoTherm throughout the UK, this Eco-Versal general-purpose insulation board is made from a fibre-free rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation core. It also features composite aluminium foil facings on both sides.

Ideal for use in ceilings, pitched roofs, walls and floors, this PIR insulation board is suitable for use in a new build or when you're upgrading the thermal performance of your existing floors. Providing a cost-effective method for decreasing CO2 emissions, it offers excellent thermal performance while meeting Building Regulations/Standards with minimal thickness.

Hi Can this board be laid under a floor screed and is it load bearing ? What is the maximum load permissible?

Answer:

Hi Justin, 

I wouldn't recommend this be laid directly under screed, as the aluminium foil facing would react poorly to the screed so I would suggest a polythene layer to cover it first.

The compressive strength is 120kpa.
