This DECKfon Acoustic Batten 45 is specially crafted to deliver high soundproofing performance on steel, concrete, and timber separating floors. These acoustic battens are composed of recycled, low resonance, open-cell, and flexible polyurethane foam that has been bonded to an FSC certified timber batten.

To ensure reliability, DECKfon acoustic battens undergo rigorous testing and adhere to the robust details compliant for steel, concrete, and timber separating floors. For areas with limited floor space, DECKfon Batten 45 is ideal.

Features & Benefits: DECKfon Acoustic Batten 45 by Cellecta 2.4m x 45mm x 45mm

  • Acoustic battens are a well-known solution for soundproofing all floor types, whether installed on a timber sub-deck or directly on a concrete floor. Upon installation, the battens are covered with an extra chipboard layer that results in a flat floor, suitable for a range of finishes like carpet, laminate flooring, and more. For installation on timber floors, mineral wool is often introduced between the joists to elevate the soundproofing performance further. Additionally, underfloor heating systems can also be integrated into the system.
