Delivering superb acoustic performance when used to isolate a floating screed from a structural concrete floor, Cellecta's YELOfon HD10+ is a game-changing acoustic resilient layer that is lightweight, easy to install and compatible with all types of concrete flooring and screed.
The system comes with an E-strip and two J-strips included and for optimal soundproofing results, it is crucial that all three components of the system are installed together, as they work in perfect synergy to deliver unbeatable acoustic performance. The YELOfon E-Strip is installed around the perimeter of your floor at the beginning of the installation process to eradicate potential acoustic flanking. To eliminate the risk of sound leakage, the YELOfon J-Strips are acoustic adhesive joining strips, used to combine sheets of YELOfon HD10+ and the surrounding E-strip.
The high-density, non-cross-linked, HCFC-free polyethylene material ensures outstanding impact sound deadening properties, and the system is even equipped with its own proprietary Robust detail E-FC-5. It is also designed to work in conjunction with underfloor heating systems.
