Compatible with Thistle Board/Multi Finish plastering, this Gyproc Plasterboard Square Edge Wallboard is a BES 6001 Certified standard plasterboard product. The Wallboard's aerated gypsum core is encased and firmly bonded to strong paper liners (ivory face and brown reverse side).
This Wallboard can be applied where base fire, structural and acoustic levels are specified and are particularly suited to drylining internal surfaces. Rated 'Excellent', it features a thermal resistance of 0.07 m²K/W and a thermal conductivity rating of 0.19 W/mK.
You can easily cut your wallboard using a plasterboard saw or a sharp knife and snapping the board over a straight edge. Knives can also cut holes for switches and socket boxes prior to fixing. All forms of cutting should take great care and follow manufacturers' recommendations. For a skim plaster finish or applying joint treatment, boards should be fixed with the decorative side out.
This Gypsum Wallboard can be cut using a plasterboard saw or by scoring with a sharp knife and snapping it over a straight edge. Holes for socket or switch boxes must be cut out before the boards are fitted using a utility saw or sharp knife. Hand and power tools should be handled with care and in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations when cutting the boards. Power tools should only be made use of by people who have been safely trained and instructed. Suitable personal protective equipment should also be worn.
