Are you in need of an easy to install, energy-efficient underfloor heating system that will bring warmth and comfort to your home? If so, BodenWärme's Electric Undertile Heating Mat with a white Wi-Fi Electric Underfloor Heating Thermostat could be the perfect solution for you. Specifically designed for ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone flooring, the BodenWärme 200 w/m² electric underfloor heating system provides a comfortable and consistent temperature and reduces the chance of hot and cold spots in your room.
The BodenWärme 200w Electric Undertile Heating Mats are most effective in rooms that experience high levels of heat loss, such as conservatories. BodenWärme's 200 watt Electric Undertile Heating Mats provide a higher output than the 150w version thanks to the way the cables are spaced within the mats. The 200w Electric Undertile Heating Mats ensures your room will heat up quickly and maintain the heat within your room for more extended periods.
Made from tough and durable Fluoropolymer conducting insulation with PVC outer insulation, BodenWärme's 200w/m² underfloor heating mat with rapid fit sticky mesh technology helps to ensure a quick and hassle-free installation process. Unlike radiators that emit heat from a single point within the room, often resulting in hot and cold spots, these mats will create an even distribution of heat. The temperature profile of underfloor heating is also much closer to the optimal heating profile, meaning your feet are kept nice and warm whilst your head remains cool. For best results, it is recommended that you use 6mm or 10mm insulation boards when installing your heat mats, which can increase performance and efficiency by up to 50%.
Included with BodenWärme's heating mats is a colour touchscreen Wi-Fi Electric Underfloor Heating Thermostat in a contemporary white gloss finish. The sensitive touchscreen makes it incredibly easy to use, and the 'Key Lock' function ensures that your thermostat settings are locked in, should they be changed by mistake. Suppose you wish to set a weekly schedule for your underfloor heating. In that case, you can use the inbuilt scheduling programme, allowing you to organise weekdays and weekends separately. With Wi-Fi connectivity, you can even control your thermostat remotely via your IOS or Android device for extra convenience.
To calculate which kit size is right for your project, you need to first work out the area of the entire floor space by multiplying the width of the floor by the length. Once this is done, you should then deduct any fixed furniture from the area with a clearance of less than 50mm above the floor. This will eliminate the risk of causing hot spots in your room. Once you have a total area minus the deductions, you should deduct a further 10% from your total as this will allow for the spacing between mats and for spacing around the perimeter of the room.
