Solar Reflective Paint is a thin bituminous based aluminium protective paint of brushable consistency which dries to a silvery finish. The product is specifically designed for application over primed metal walls and roofs to reduce heat absorption.
Tools and equipment can be cleaned with white spirit.

Porous Surfaces - 4-6m²
Non-Porous Surfaces - 11m²
Limitations
Surface preparation
All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, dirt, oil, grease and loose material.
Application
Black jack solar reflective paint must be stirred prior to use and periodically during application.
Apply two coats by brush or mohair roller, the second coat being applied as soon as the first coat is dry (1-2 hours).
Over recently applied bituminous coatings, allow the following minimum period to elapse after the final coat has dried before applying this product:
Hot applied products : 6 hours.
Solvent based coatings : 3 days.
Water based coatings : 2 weeks.
Over bituminous surfaces, apply the thinnest first coat necessary to obliterate the black colour of the bitumen. The second coat should also be thin. Avoid ponding. When brushing, use soft bristle brushes applying the lightest pressure.
Cleaning tools
Tools may be cleaned by using white spirit. Spillage’s should be wiped off surfaces before the bitumen paint has set.
