SuperFOIL SFBB is the UK’s best value reflective watertight high tech reflective breather membrane.
In situ energy assessment indicates that foil breathers have benefits over traditional (non reflective) versions. SuperFOIL SFBB provides a barrier to the movement of air whilst allowing moisture to escape from the building reducing the risk of condensation. The control of air leakage is essential to the further improvement of energy efficiency.
SuperFOIL SFBB is also CE certified for its performance as a water barrier. It is easy to handle, install, cut, and seal and has a life expectancy in excess of 50 years.

SFBB should be installed on the 'cold' side of the insulated structure with special care being taken to ensure that all seams and holes are sealed effectively to render the whole structure water tight whilst allowing moisture to escape.
All laps should be a minimum of 100mm and be sealed using SF jointing tape. Particular care is required when sealing around penetrations. Where the barrier is breached by construction elements, the aperture should be sealed with SuperFOIL Tape
SFBB should be stored on end, amd protected from extremes of weather and temperature. Care should be taken to ensure that rolls are not physically changed at any time.
