Description

Installers can enhance the safety of ROCKWOOL stone wool slabs by using this specially developed ablative coating. By creating an insulated char, it protects the slab and enhances its resistance to flame spread. It also helps to reduce delamination and improve surface stability during the application of fixing or adhesive sealants.

This water-based coating is available separately, allowing for flexible use, including on-site repairs to damaged ablative coated batts. It can be applied to stone wool slabs by brushing or spraying and is available in white, with other colours available based on minimum order quantities.
