The Beaverscrews® range of premium woodscrews, have a double countersunk pozi head and an advanced design, which features an excellent shank, allowing for a fast insertion speed and an incredible pull out resistance in comparison to your average woodscrew.
The double countersunk head improves the strength of the screw, this helps to prevent the screw from breaking. In order to reduce the torquer requirement and for faster installation the milling/reaming mid-section gently increases the diameter of the hole.
With a type 17 sharp point, starting has been made faster whilst the risk of splitting has been reduced, this allows for precision positioning meaning a better result. The synthetically self-lubricating wax coating also aids in a faster insertion, reduced splitting and it reduces energy consumption.
Due to the 6 nibs under head and a sharp point for fast pick up, the Beaverscrews® are highly versatile in their application. Beaverscrews® can be used in softwood, chipboard, MDF, hardwood, plastics and thin metal sheets. Up to 40mm of the screw is fully threaded, this helps the timber to be tightly clamped together.
Protection against corrosion comes from the Zinc plated yellow passivated 3-5 Micron coating, this provides good protection, meaning your screws will be more durable and long lasting.
The Beaverscrews® are available in a variety of sizes, making them suitable for a whole range of jobs, they can be used with most hardwoods without having to pre-drill the wood.
