Description

SPAX WIROX 6.0MM T-STAR plus washer head screw has been manufactured in Germany, it is ideal for use with timber construction & particularly suited for rafter connections.

The large SPAX washer head pulls the two components together with great force. It has a high load capacity even with high tensile forces. Even twisted rafters can be tightened.

Some of the key design features of this screw are the SPAX 4CUT & Ground serrations. The fibres of the wood are pushed aside, effectively reducing splitting, this also reduces the screwing-in torque required. The SPAX 4CUT removes the need to pre-drill, however this is dependent on the type of wood being used.

The SPAX 6.0MM washer head screw with T-STAR plus bit recess offers a positive & secure fit of the bit with better driving in even when working overhead.

The SPAX 6.0MM washer head screw is coated in WIROX. A surface with an increased thickness that achieves greater corrosion protection compared to conventional blank zinc-plated screws. WIROX is free of chrome (VI) making it more environmentally friendly than conventional surfaces both in production and in use.
