ROCKWOOL's purpose-designed FIREPRO® fire-resistant adhesive has been specifically developed in line with the brand's unbeatable fire-protection system. Available in a generous 17kg plastic tub, this water-based adhesive has a pH of 11 (approximately).

Applied usually via palette knife or trowel, this premium glue is listed on the LUL Product Register and sets in as little as four hours. The glue must be stored in frost-free area but should the glue suffer frost exposure, it can be thawed out slowly with thorough stirring. This won't affect the glue's curing abilities. The glue should always be thoroughly stirred before every use to ensure a reliable consistency.

Be sure to follow manufacturer's guidance on application in certain temperatures. This adhesive's curing rate has been tested on a number of surfaces in varying temperatures (down to -10°C) but the curing rate can be affected by humidity, thickness of application, air access to the joint and temperature.
