This purpose-designed FIREPRO® fire-resistant adhesive from ROCKWOOL has been specifically developed in line with the brand's unbeatable fire-protection system. Available in a generous 17kg plastic tub, this water-based adhesive has an approximate pH of 11.
Typically applied via a palette knife or trowel, this premium glue is listed on the LUL Product Register and sets in as little as four hours. For best results, store this glue in an area free from frost. If it does experience frost exposure, it can be thawed out slowly by thorough stirring without affecting its ability to cure. You should always stir the glue thoroughly before its use to ensure a consistent and reliable texture.
Be sure to follow the manufacturer's guidance during application in certain temperatures. This adhesive's curing rate has been tested on several surfaces in varying temperatures, down to -10°C, however, the curing rate can be impacted by humidity, the thickness of application, air access to the joint and temperature.
