Available in a 10m roll, this Sempatap Edging Tape is employed to conceal the corners where Sempatap and Sempatap Thermal have been sliced to the edges during installation on a wall. The edging tape is placed to mask the join, which creates a seamless finish.
Due to the length of heavy cartridge paper, you can easily form right angles in the tape. The paper includes a layer of plastic on one surface with a crease down the centre to accomplish this.
Apply a coating of Sempatap Adhesive to the plastic surface when your desired shape has been attained and let it to soak for several minutes. You can then place the tape over the corner and use a moist sponge to smooth it. Ensure that the plastic side is facing inward, and the paper side is visible.
