This Promat Masterboard is a building board that comprises calcium silicate, reinforced with selected fillers and fibres. It is completely free from formaldehyde and is formulated without inorganic fibres. It is perfect for creating wall linings using a similarly treated metal support system that 'dry lines' block walls.
The wall lining can be tiled using suitable grout and adhesive or coated with a Steridex protective finish. This Promat Masterboard is a versatile Class 0 building board which is ideal for use in a wide variety of semi-exposed and internal applications. As a material with limited combustibility, it can provide up to 30 minutes of fire protection in constructions. It is straightforward to work with and install and resistant to moisture. What's more, it will not decay or rot.
Coloured off-white, this board has an unsanded, smooth front face with a sanded reverse side. It can be easily decorated with tiles, wallpapers or paints to match the interior design scheme of your property or left undecorated.
