Pre-primed to ensure zero water absorption, this No More Ply 6mm thick fibre cement Tile Backer Board provides an entirely flat and solid surface for when tiling on a wooden floor. Such stability and minimalised movement help to reduce the risk of cracked grouting and tile damage over time.
Direct adhesion can often be problematic when tiling onto chipboard flooring due to the material's high wax content. By overlaying your chipboard with No More Ply Tile Backer boards, you can ensure an ideal surface for your needs.
This 600mm x 1200mm board from No More Ply is an ideal alternative to standard plywood boards and will provide the same strength as traditional 15mm plywood, minus the additional height that 15mm plywood will give.
Its A1 fire rating means this board is non-combustible, giving you peace of mind. As well as fire protection, when primed with No More Ply's latex-based SBR Professional Tiler's Primer, this board will become water-resistant, making it suitable for bathrooms and wetrooms.
