Description

The JCW Acoustic Batten Levelling Cradles provide a reliable, high-performance solution for levelling uneven sub-floors while delivering excellent acoustic control. Precision moulded from recycled polypropylene, each cradle fits neatly over the Acoustic Pad to support timber battens up to 47mm wide, creating a stable base for the flooring deck. By acoustically isolating the bearing surface from the structural floor, the system significantly reduces the transmission of both impact and airborne sound through concrete floors.

Used alone, the cradles provide height increments of 11mm, and in combination with 2mm packing shims, allow precise final adjustment. Suitable for concrete, steel-concrete composite and timber floors, the system supports a wide range of internal and external raised floor and decking applications.

Please note:

  • To achieve the most efficient support, these cradles should be spaced at 400mm batten centres, with each cradle accepting four batten ends. For higher weight loads, such as kitchen appliances, it is recommended to space the batten centres at 300mm and use cross battens.
