Available in a range of diameters, these SureTwist bars can be implemented in a variety of ways. They are suited to installation in new builds and for multiple specialised refurbishment requirements like apartment buildings, historic buildings, bridges and many more.
SureTwist bars are also compatible with assorted building materials, including concrete, brick, stone, wood, autoclave (aircrete) and others. You can implement the SureTwist Profile for either structural reinforcement or anchorage fixings.
In order to ensure the fixing's safety, tension is induced through the helical section by the twisting motion that occurs during manufacturing. By doing this, it puts the fins into tension and the core into compression and any impurities present in the raw material are detected and inferior materials are discarded for a product that is safer. By the end of the manufacturing process, the base material's tensile strength is more than doubled. Pronounced fins over the core result in bonding characteristics of the SureTwist Profile that are superior to other standard reinforcing materials.
The SureTwist Helical Anchorage System is offering you an optimum solution. SureTwist is an austenitic stainless steel, Grade 1.4301 or 1.4401 - DIN EN 10088 Part 3 (1995), AISI - 304 or 316, reinforcing material with many unique properties (Or 8.8 High Tensile Steel for specific applications). Being rolled from plain round wire, the fins are work-hardened to a very high level whilst the core remains relatively soft. The subsequent twisting process puts the fins into tension and the core into compression. The tensile strength of the base material is more than doubled during the manufacturing process. The pronounced fins over the core make the bonding characteristics of the SureTwist Profile far superior to alternative standard reinforcing materials.
