Designed to offer a uValue of 0.15 W/m2k, the GL250-015-PU drop-down door is specifically developed to provide a cost-effective option for energy-efficient loft space access. Engineered with Manthorpe's revolutionary multi-point catch mechanism, this easy-to-install drop-down door creates an effective draught seal and prevents warm, moist air entering the loft space.
With seals supported by several perimeter catches, this innovative drop-down loft access door allows for the door to be removed in seconds through its sliding mechanism (operated from a single point). To install, the frame simply screws into place directly onto the ceiling timbers and the hinge pivot is carefully positioned to allow for the largest possible accessible opening.
This version of Manthorpe's loft access door can be used in conjunction with GLL256 and GLL257 loft ladders, operating easily with the pole supplied.
