The BodenWärme 200w Electric Undertile Heating Mat with black, touchscreen Wi-Fi Electric Underfloor Heating Thermostat is a hardwearing and cost-effective heating solution for rooms with ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone flooring. This 200-watt electric underfloor heating system has been designed in particular for rooms that experience high levels of heat loss, such as conservatories. Due to the way the cables within the mats are spaced, the 200w Electric Undertile Heating Mats ensures your room will heat up much quicker and maintain the heat within your rooms for longer. The system provides a comfortable and consistent temperature and reduces the chance of hot and cold spots in your room.
The mats are made from Fluoropolymer conducting insulation with PVC outer insulation, ensuring longevity and durability. The rapid fit sticky mesh technology makes the 200w/m² underfloor heating mats very easy to install, and with a lifetime warranty, you will have peace of mind once they are installed. The thermostats are covered by specific manufacturer backed warranties.
The temperature profile of the BodenWärme Electric Undertile Heating Mat is much closer to the ideal heating profile for a comfortable living environment. Rather than traditional heating methods such as radiators that produce heat from a single point within a room, BodenWärme's heat mats ensure your feet are kept warm whilst your head remains cool. For increased performance, why not use 6mm or 10mm insulation boards in conjunction with this underfloor heating system, which can improve performance and efficiency by up to 50%?
Along with BodenWärme's heating mats, you will also receive a colour touchscreen Wi-Fi Electric Underfloor Heating Thermostat in a sleek black gloss finish. The user-friendly sensitive touchscreen is easy to use, and the 'Key Lock' function ensures that you cannot change your thermostat settings in error. You can pre-emptively set your underfloor heating settings for specific days and times with a weekly scheduling programme. The thermostat's Wi-Fi connectivity allows you to control your thermostat remotely via your IOS or Android device, ready for when you return home.
To calculate which kit size is right for your project, you need to first work out the area of the entire floor space by multiplying the width of the floor by the length. Once this is done, you should then deduct any fixed furniture from the area with a clearance of less than 50mm above the floor. This will eliminate the risk of causing hot spots in your room. Once you have a total area minus the deductions, you should deduct a further 10% from your total as this will allow for the spacing between mats and for spacing around the perimeter of the room.
