Acoustic underlay rolls for the reduction of impact sound transfer under carpeted areas. Very popular as a carpet underlay in older houses with floorboard gaps and draught issues.
SilentWool Carpet is a roll of 9mm thick Sheep Wool Insulation, which is designed as a premium carpet underlay. SilentWool Carpet is suitable for use under new or existing carpets in refushment projects or new builds.
SilentWool Carpet is especially popular in older houses where there may be existing gaps in the floorboards, allowing underfloor drafts to make a room feel cold. The thick layer of SilentWool: Carpet under a carpet will also act as a long-lasting underlay, protecting the carpet from premature wear and tear. SilentWool Carpet rolls are 25m in length and a density of 750g/m2.
