SoundDeck Visco 17 is a factory bonded acoustic floor panel designed for high performance in areas where a shallow floor build-up is required. Its thin construction will allow for fitting beneath existing floor surfaces with minimal effect to the surrounding décor or floor thickness.
SoundDeck Visco 17 is manufactured from a resilient layer that cushions each panel to absorb vibrations in the subfloor. Combined with internal visco elastic adhesive strips, impact noise and sound vibrations are all reduced to promote a quieter environment. The acoustic performance of SoundDeck Visco 17 is very good, offering a reduction in impact noise of 60dB.
For example, in a timber floor build-up of 100mm of 60kg Rockwool between joists above a ceiling with 2 layers of acoustic plasterboard and resilient bars, when you add SoundDeck Visco 17 you’ll achieve 60dB in impact noise reduction and 49dB in airbourne noise reduction.
