Description

Glidevale AH6 loft hatches are hinged to drop down from the ceiling and they’re manufactured to meet regulation for 1 hour of fire rating. The door and the frame of this loft hatch are made from 1mm and 1.2mm thick electro-galvanised steel whilst the hatch is filled in with insulation to offer 0.35 W/m2K. The hatch is polyester powder coated in white to maintain an unobtrusive and sleek finish no matter where it’s installed.

Zintec, the galvanised steel that this AH6 fire-rated loft hatch is made from, is certified as limited combustibility so it satisfies the requirements of relevant Building Regulations. In a standard construction this hatch will provide 1 hour of fire resistance, as verified by independent tests. Boasting Class 0 spread of surface flame in accordance with relevant Building Regulations, Glidevale AH6 can be locked with a concealed and key-operated lock for zero tampering.

Glidevale loft hatches offer a full loft hatch system which seals to the ceiling. The thermally insulated hatch continues the loft insulation or ceiling insulation to reduce heat loss. Seals also works towards reducing the risk of condensation as they reduce water vapour migration.
