The BodenWärme 13m² Electric Underwood Heating Kit with a manual thermostat delivers consistent, luxurious warmth for laminate and floating engineered wood floors. Designed for efficiency and durability, this underfloor heating system provides even heat distribution throughout your home.
The ultra-thin 1mm dual-core wire with a single connection point keeps floor height increase to a minimum while providing a seamless installation. The tough Fluoropolymer insulation and aluminium mat composition enhance durability and heat dispersion. And operating at AC230V+/-10% 50/60Hz, it guarantees efficient year-round comfort. Easy to use, the white manual thermostat features an LED indicator and fits a standard single gang back box (45mm depth).
First work out the area of the whole floor space by multiplying the length of the floor by the width. You should then subtract any fixed furniture from the area with a clearance of less than 50mm above the floor. This will eradicate the risk of causing hot spots in your room. When you have a total area minus the deductions, you should deduct a further 10% from your total as this will allow for the spacing between cables and around the perimeter of the room.
