The BodenWärme 150W Electric Undertile Heating Mat 1m² with a black dSTAT thermostat is a reliable, energy-efficient solution for natural stone, porcelain, and ceramic floors. It ensures consistent warmth, eliminating hot and cold spots common with radiators. The 3.6mm dual-core wire minimises floor height increase, while Fluoropolymer insulation with a PVC outer layer provides durability. When used in well-insulated rooms, this mat can serve as a primary heat source. For increased efficiency, install over underfloor insulation boards to speed up heating and reduce heat loss. The sleek black digital dSTAT thermostat features adaptive learning, 7-day programming, and Key Lock for security.
First measure the total floor area by multiplying the width by the length. Then subtract fixed furniture with a clearance of less than 50mm above the floor to prevent hot spots. With the total area minus deductions, deduct an additional 10% as this will allow for the spacing between mats and around the perimeter of the room.
