The TC line exhibits heightened capabilities in shear and compressive load performance, thus minimising deflection and bending across greater fixing distances.
To ensure the longevity and reliability of SureTwist Plus, the manufacturing process employs a twisting technique to induce tension through the helical section which puts the fins into tension and the core into compression. These measures are taken to detect impurities in the raw materials at an early stage, allowing for prompt removal of inferior materials and the production of a safer product.
Tensile strength of the base material is more than doubled due to the manufacturing process, and pronounced fins over the core provide the SureTwist Profile with bonding characteristics better than alternative standard reinforcing materials.
The SureTwist Helical Anchorage System provides effective solutions. Having been rolled from a plain round wire, the fins are work-hardened to an elevated level whilst the core remains relatively soft. SureTwist is an austenitic stainless steel, Grade 1.4301 or 1.4401 - DIN EN 10088 Part 3 (1995), AISI - 304 or 316, reinforcing material that has an assortment of exclusive properties (Or 8.8 High Tensile Steel for specific applications).
