This Speedline Thermal Laminate Insulated Plasterboard is a high-performance composite material that combines PIR foam and plasterboard laminate to effectively enhance thermal performance. Designed for dual dry lining and insulation, it is a versatile solution for an array of applications in both refurbishment and new build projects.

This Thermal Laminate Insulated Plasterboard can be installed using either dot & dab or mechanical fixing methods. It is suitable for use on various surfaces such as masonry walls, concrete, block or brick and is ideally suited for enhancing your ceilings and walls to meet uValue requirements and a room in a roof installation.

When fixing this plasterboard to the substrate, there are several methods that can be utilised including metal frame system timber battens, mechanical fixing or adhesive bonding. Dry-wall adhesive is ideal for use on plane concrete or plastered walls while fireproof mechanical fixings are recommended after the adhesive has set with three per board.

Please note:

  • When using this Speedline Thermal Laminate Plasterboard on ceilings, it must be directly fixed to the rafters after the removal of any plaster or plasterboards. The board must always be screw-fixed to the rafters to ensure safety and stability.
