This Speedline Thermal Laminate Insulated Plasterboard is a high-performance composite material manufactured from a combination of plasterboard laminate and PIR foam and is ideal for enhancing thermal performance. This Thermal Laminate Insulated Plasterboard is incredibly versatile and can be installed using either mechanical fixing or dot & dab methods. It is suitable for use on a variety of surfaces including masonry walls, brick, block or concrete. It is perfectly suited for a room in a roof installation and upgrading your walls and ceilings to meet uValue requirements.
When it comes to fixing this plasterboard to the substrate, there are numerous methods that can be used such as mechanical fixing, metal frame system timber battens or adhesive bonding. Dry-wall adhesive is suitable for use on plane concrete or plastered walls while fireproof mechanical fixings are also advised after the adhesive has set, with three per board.
