Specifically designed for masonry surfaces like blockwork that have normal suction, ProRend Float is a premium, factory-produced dry mortar. It is a versatile product that serves as a reliable basecoat for thin coat renders.

Additionally, it offers a cost-effective and contemporary alternative to traditional sand and cement. Whether applied by hand or using a sprayer, ProRend Float comes in a complete form that is ready for use, requiring only the addition of clean water with the desired quantity.

Features & Benefits: ProRend Float Basecoat - 25kg

  • 1.39 kg/mm/m² coverage
  • Curing of 1mm/day
  • Maximum grain size of ~2.00mm
  • L1 - Set Mortar Density of 1.40 kg/m³
  • L2 - Comprehensive Strength of ~3.00 N/mm²
  • E module, coefficient of elasticity of ~2,800.00 N/mm²
  • Lightweight lime sand cement render applied by hand or machine
  • Perfect alternative for traditional sand and cement avoiding on-site mixing and gauging
  • A basecoat for all ProRend decorative renders or masonry paint
  • Smooth finished, sponge textured or keyed to receive a subsequent coat

ProRend Float's formulation includes pasteuriser, binding agents, and lightweight minerals, allowing for an easy and seamless one-coat application. After application, ProRend Float can be smoothed using a float and sponge technique, followed by painting. Alternatively, for a modern aesthetic, it can be finished with a thin coat render.
