This Novia Black Pro breather membrane is suitable for use in cold and warm pitched roofs and timber frame walls. Made from a three-layer synthetic laminate with a microporous breathable polymer, it is highly durable, water-resistant and high-grade.
Ideal for use as wall cladding in timber frame constructions or as a roof underlay, this membrane is CE-approved to EN13859 - 1 and EN13859 - 2 for use in pitched roofs and walls. This low-cost, versatile breather membrane is CPR-compliant and Grade E flame resistant. For direct application over boarded roofs, insulation or rafters, it is white on one side and black on the other, with only a 150mm overlap line as markings.

The product is designed to be used as the outermost layer before any form of exterior cladding wall. You'll still need to leave approximately 25mm as an air gap between the insulation and membrane so that it can breath.
