Manthorpe’s G244 flexible cavity closer is a perfect solution to the challenge of curved and circular windows. This closer has a single flange, and is suitable for fitting to standard window cavities and allows for easy closing of circular closings with diameters of 500mm and upwards. Whether you're working with homes with ‘bulls-eye’ windows or larger commercial designs, this innovative closer can be used to make sure all industry standards are met.
Featuring an intelligent joining system, this adaptable design ensures your installation will comply fully with the relevant building regulations, providing appropriate insulation levels at window and door openings (make sure all frames are placed with a 15mm allowance for overlap within a cavity). We also recommend that a cavity tray is installed to encourage water away from the inner leaf, closer and frame.
Guaranteeing insulation with a GWP score of less than five, this non-load-bearing closer provides an optimum finish but shouldn't be used as a replacement for more traditional methods of masonry fixing.
