JCW Noise Stopper ceiling pads incorporate thermal and acoustic insulation to provide industrial, retail and commercial areas with a reduction in sound from their suspended ceiling system. Sitting on top of existing ceilings pads, the pads are manufactured from a rock mineral wool slab encased in a Class 0 non-flammable aluminium foil.
These ceiling pads should be installed over an existing suspended ceiling grid where these Noise Stopper pads will sit on top of the ceiling tiles for noise reduction. Noise Stopper ceiling pads are designed to reduce room to room noise transfer whilst absorbing sound in a room to stop it from travelling. Lightweight and offering up to 14dB of sound reduction, installing these Noise Stopper pads on top of existing ceiling tiles won’t cause any structural issues or compromise the stability of the ceiling.
