This vapour-permeable membrane from Icopal has been designed to be an underlay for discontinuous roofing in over rafter and pitched applications in ventilated and non-ventilated roofs in zone 1 wind uplift areas.
BBA-certified, this Monarperm Breathe One is suitable for use in zone 1 with less than 345mm overlaps under a batten without lap tape and 944 Pa. Fabricated from a laminated layer of polymer film, in between two layers of polypropylene fabric, this membrane is white underneath and blue on the topside.
With a 0.43mm thickness, this membrane is resistant to UV radiation and water penetration, making it perfect for temporarily providing a waterproofing cover for up to three months, as a secondary layer to protect against snow or hard-driven rain or as an underlay in vertical rain screen cladding and weatherboarding. Highly puncture and nail-tear resistant, it is compatible with many common roof substrate materials.
