Icopal’s Monarperm Breathe All Zones has been designed for discontinuous roofing in ventilated and un-ventilated roofs. It can be used as a vapour permeable membrane and a temporary waterproofing fabric in all wind uplift zones, BBA-certified for them all. Monarperm Breathe All Zones has been manufactured from three layers – two layers of polypropylene sandwich one layer of laminated polymer film. This product will reduce wind load on slates and tiles.
Icopal Monarperm Breathe All Zones resists the penetration of water so can help to protect your building from wind-driven rain and snow. This means Monarperm Breathe All Zones is suitable for use as a vertical underlay in weatherboarding and rainscreen cladding applications.
Compatible with most roof substrates, Monarperm Breathe is highly puncture resistant and nail tear resistant. The UV stable products however cannot be used with solvent-based timber treatments. Question:
What is the recommended overlap at 30 degrees pitch on slate roof?
Answer:
The overlap can vary based upon the roof structure (for example if you have valleys you'll need to extend over 300mm and you should leave an additional 150mm over the eaves), if you need to overlap another membrane, then it is reccomended to go between 100-30mm.
