This FAKRO FTT U8 Thermo window is quad-glazed with krypton-filled gas panes for use in passive construction. In cool and temperate climates FAKRO FTT U8 Thermo windows are PassivHaus certified.
The window has a 0.58 W/m2K u-value thanks to the quad-glazing and because the window has a minimal amount of frame space – the more glass the window has, the better the insulating properties due to the krypton cavities.
FAKRO’s quad-glazed centre pivot window gives significant energy savings in terms of heating a property and the full 180-degree rotation that the off-centre pivot hinges give allow a property to be cooled and aired very quickly too. The 180-degree rotation of the sash frame means the window can be cleaned on the outside easily, no worrying about getting up a ladder.
The opening handle of this FAKRO quad-glazed window is at the bottom of the window for the most convenient opening height. When the high quality, sustainable pine wood and 5-seal sash frame is combined they present an elegant, stylish and environmentally friendly FAKRO roof window.
